Empowering students to reach new heights

New Heights Learning Collaborative is a learning pod that serves 4 – 14 year olds. We provide an environment where all students can learn at their own pace, build strong connections with peers & community, and apply what they’ve learned to the world around them.

What we offer at

New Heights Learning Collaborative

All of our programs at New Heights Learning Collaborative emphasize hands-on, experiential learning, small group settings, and a dynamic curriculum tailored to each student’s needs and interests. We are committed to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and good citizenship, in order to empower students to thrive academically and personally.

Early Elementary

Our early elementary program is a play-based, nature focused program designed for students ages 4 – 7 years old.

Upper Elementary/Middle School

Our upper elementary/middle school program provides a student-centered approach to education through relevant, real-world learning experiences

Enrichment

We provide diverse, engaging experiences that complement the core curriculum, including but not limited to ASL, art, music, baking, sewing, STEM, robotics, first aid, etc…

Community Based learning

We implement community based learning experiences to foster empathy and human connection. These experiences provide real-world interactions that broaden perspectives, encourage understanding of diverse experiences, and cultivate a sense of shared responsibility and interconnectedness

A la Carte classes

For homeschooling families seeking to maintain primary responsibility for their child’s education but require assistance in specific subjects, we offer enrollment on a per-class basis.

Field Trips

At New Heights Learning Collaborative we strive to make learning relevant and authentic. We take regular field trips to bring learning to life for our students.

What sets us apart

Our Core beliefs

Our vision is to create a premier educational experience that equips students with skills necessary for a successful future by focusing on strong academics, critical thinking & character development.

New Heights Learning Collaborative

Founder/Director/Teacher

I didn’t start out my career going into education. In fact, education wasn’t a profession that was ever really on my radar. Funny how God sneaks up on you and says, “Nope! I know the plans I have for you!”. After switching professions from healthcare to education, I fell in love with teaching and I have no doubt this is God’s calling for my life.

New Heights Learning Collaborative was born out of a desire to provide a better, more student-centered approach to education. After 14 years in the public school system, I decided to be the change I wanted to see for my kids and families in my community.

I am so excited for the adventures and opportunities that await our New Heights LC families!

our foundation

building Strong Students

We believe in a holistic approach to education, recognizing that it encompasses more than just academics. Every learning experience is crafted with the whole child in mind. New Heights Learning Collaborative exists to provide students with experiences that foster a love for learning, a love of self, and a love of people.

Love of Learning

A love of learning is important because it fosters a lifelong passion for knowledge, encouraging individuals to seek out new information and experiences. This intrinsic motivation not only leads to personal growth and fulfillment but also fuels creativity, critical thinking, and innovation in all aspects of life.

Love of Self

Loving one’s self is crucial for mental, emotional, and physical well-being, as it builds resilience and a positive self-image. It enables individuals to set healthy boundaries, prioritize self-care, and cultivate fulfilling relationships with themselves and others.

Love of People

Loving other people is important because it fosters empathy, compassion, and understanding, creating stronger, more supportive communities. It also enriches personal relationships, leading to greater happiness, fulfillment, and a sense of belonging. This is also part of the greatest commandment of the Lord (Matthew 22:37-39).

You ask, we answer

Here are a few of the commonly asked questions we receive. Always feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions and we will be happy to assist you!

We operate as a learning pod. Essentially, your child will be considered a homeschooler and you are paying New Heights Learning Collaborative as a tutoring service.

Our focus is the success and well-being of every student. We are not bound by standards and test scores. This gives us the freedom to tailor the learning experiences to the unique needs of each of our learners. We do not have timelines or strict pacing guides that we must follow. Students are allowed to learn at their own pace. We take a holistic approach to education and believe in developing skills that can be applied in the classroom and in life.

Tuition can range from $650/month to $150/month depending upon the program you choose.  Tuition is billed monthly and it is spread out over 10 months so you do not pay throughout the summer. We have a supply fee due at the beginning of each semester and this covers the cost of supplies for learning activities and monthly learning subscriptions. Learn more on our PROGRAMS page.

The enrollment process is OPEN! There are only 12 spots available for each program so it is important that you complete the enrollment process to secure your spot on the waitlist. The enrollment offer letters will be sent on or after June 7th, 2024 and will go in the order of the waitlist so securing your spot is vital. Enrollment closes on July 31st. If you miss the enrollment period, you will need to wait until the following year to enroll.
